What is the difference between Fiberon™ PA612-CF15 and Fiberon™ PA6-CF20?

Fiberon™ PA612-CF15 exhibits enhanced rigidity and strength in wet conditions compared to Fiberon™ PA6-CF20, owing to its longer chemical chain. While both materials do absorb moisture, PA612-CF demonstrates minimal reduction in mechanical properties, resulting in superior overall performance in wet environments when compared to PA6-CF.

What is the percentage of the carbon fiber content in Fiberon™ PA612-CF15?

It contains 15 wt% carbon fibers.

Is it safe while putting cardboard spool to dry the Fiberon™ PA612-CF15 in the oven?

Yes, we have ensured the dimensional stability of the cardboard by subjecting it to a temperature of 100°C in the oven. This meticulous drying process guarantees that the cardboard remains free from warping and distortion.

Do PA612-CF15 prints need annealing? What are the annealing conditions?

We strongly recommend 100°C, 10h annealing to achieve the best performance of the material.

Will the 3kg reel fit into my LANDR Filament Dryer?
