Revo ObXidian High Flow Nozzles
With a wear resistance that is orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle, ObXidian is really hard. Several orders of magnitude harder than Nozzle X and indeed any other generic hardened steel nozzle. This is achieved by pairing a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC™ coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the Nozzle itself resulting in considerably less plastic build up around the Nozzle.
Higher Flow.
Revo ObXidian™ High Flow increases your setup's volumetric flow rate, enabling you to print abrasive materials faster!
How does this work?
Revo™ High Flow maintains the exact same form factor as standard Revo HotEnds; this means there is no need to adjust your pre-existing mount and fan duct setups! These High Flow nozzles use a unique custom internal geometry to increase the surface area for improved thermal transfer to the filament.
More nozzle sizes.
Revo ObXidian High Flow unlocks higher flow for existing 0.4mm, 0.60mm, and 0.80mm nozzle sizes and adds 1.00mm, 1.20mm, and 1.40mm nozzle sizes to your arsenal of abrasive resistant nozzles.
Experiment freely.
With nozzle swapping this easy, you’re free to experiment with different nozzles for different applications. In the event of issues like clogged nozzles, simply unscrew one and effortlessly replace it with a new one. This leads to a significant reduction in your 3D printer's downtime and only means one thing, more time for 3D printing!
Frustration-free. Each Revo Nozzle is a preassembled nozzle and HeatBreak in one unit, so there’s no hazardous hot tightening and no chance of incorrect assembly. Say goodbye to frustrating HotEnd leaks and enjoy reliable 3D printing!
Rapid identification. Identify nozzle sizes at a glance, thanks to a colour-coded silicone sock. Plus, each Revo Nozzle has its size engraved into it with easy-to-read numbers, so there are no confusing identification markers to learn!
Please note:
- You may need to adjust your Z offset when changing nozzles.
-
ObXidian™ coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Improvements in ‘exotic’ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s Polymide range, can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials. In the meantime please be aware that even the rainbows and unicorns in your ObXidian nozzle are not everlasting under extreme material conditions.
